It Depends On The State I Live In Maine And There Is No Legal Age To Buy Brewing Products.

From My Research Many States Have No Legal Age

Absolutely no minimum age, because they assume that you’re not smart enough to make beer until you’re 21, which is kinda stupid. If you’re young and don’t want to look too suspicious or draw too much attention, just go shopping and buy the ingredients along with some other items. Then go to the hardware store and get the rest. They will not care as long as you’re confident. Bring friends.

I was never asked my age for the brewing kits and equipment.

As long as you are not buying alcohol, you are legal. Theoretically, everything you buy could be used for making something non-alcoholic.

No there is no age limit on purchasing brewing or wine making equipment. I know of (…that I know of.) no states that have laws governing the purchse of ingredients used to make beer and wine. Hoever, the law in the USA does state that a person is required to be eighteen years of age to make them.
