Brewing beer is more difficult than just making plain alcohol. Now if you want to do that its a very easy process. I’d give it a 1 on a scale 1-10.
First you will need:
2 cups sugar (or 3, if u decide not to use the frozen fruit concentrate)
1 can frozen fruit concentrate
1 packet of yeast
water
———————
Ok now you will need a 1 gal. jug. Make sure it is clean, dont want bacteria getting in. Boil (light boil) some water and add the 2 cups of sugar, let dissolve and turn stove off. Let the water cool down til u can put ur finger in it. Add the yeast to the jug, followed by the warmish hot sugar water, followed by the froze fruit concentrate (make sure its defrosted to liquid form) Put the cap on and give it a good shake, and then take the cap back off. Let sit for 2 mins and then fill the rest of the jug up with water (doesn’t matter if its tap).

Alright so now the yeast is activated and it will begin the fermentation process. But to keep the brew from touching the air u need either an air lock cap to put on top, or u can use a balloon with 2-3 holes poked in the tip and put it on the mouth of the jug. The balloon will fill up with co2 and exit continuously through the holes u made. And now patience comes into play. You need to store the jug in a dark, warm room (70-80degrees). And wait 3-7 days or until ur alcohol clears up and the balloon on top has deflated. Once this happens let sit for an extra day. And then place your drink in the refrigerator to kill of the rest of the yeast.

Once thats done, u can filter to alcohol out from the dead yeast on the bottom, using a different bottle, pour about 85% of its content. Leaving the rest that has yeast in it. And Your done! you have your own alcohol:D hahah

Note: The alcohol being made will have about 15-21% alc.

Mate, you don’t need yahoo answers for this one, you can find this one out for yourself, but I recommend trying it, home brew beer made with good ingredients is Better than commercial beer…

First, go to eBay and buy a copy of Papazian’s book The New Complete Joy of Home Brewing. That should set you back about $3 plus shipping. Read the first 40-odd pages to get the general idea. Then get an equipment kit (eBay might be good if shipping is not too high) and a large stockpot, at least 20 quarts. You’ll eventually buy more (and more and more) but that will get you started. Go to http://byo.com and click on the “resources” button to help you find a local home brew shop. The same site is handy to give you links to online suppliers too. Explain your situation to the shop-owner and get the ingredients for an all-extract ale. Follow the directions. Brew. Drink. Repeat. You will eventually work your way up to grains and lagers.

Beer is less forgiving than wine but should not cause problems if you keep everything sanitary.
