Beer Brewing Bucket 2 Beer Brewing Bucket

Yep. You can make wine at home in a Pickle bucket. Here's how:

Go to your local fast food restaurant and ask the manager to tell him you like 2 empty pickle buckets.

These buckets are buckets of food quality and will not outgas any chemicals in your bizarre wine. Although are food grade, they have one big problem: they were filled with vinegar. Vinegar is a natural enemy of wine.

So – you have to sterilize and clean the pickle buckets, let them air dry, then clean and sterilize Oxyclean again. I use and it seems to work rather well.

Once you've cleaned and dried twice, you're ready to go.

Use one of the buckets as your Primary fermenter. The second bucket you can use as secondary fermenter. You will need to make a change to the second bucket – you need to drill a small hole at the top to accommodate an airlock.

The hole should be slightly larger than the hatch diameter. Go to your local hardware store and apply a small "carnation".  This is a small rubber gasket that will provide a good seal between the bucket and airlock to ensure that air can not enter the wine when it sits in the secondary fermenter.

You're done!  All you have to do is put your juice in the first bucket and put the yeast and let it sit for a week. then siphon the wine from 1 to 2a bucket bucket Put the lid, put in airlock and wait a month.

In the end, you're ready to bottle!
